Training is key to our exceptional service standards, and we take it very seriously. Our staff is thoroughly trained to carry out duties safely, efficiently and with a high level of technical skill.
New employees undergo induction training in Health and Safety, fire and emergency procedures, and the handling, transportation and storage of equipment and materials. This foundation training is then built on through our comprehensive technical training programme.
All our managers and supervisors hold NVQs in Cleaning and Support Services, and attend regular training courses in new technology, safety regulations and practices within the cleaning industry.
Technical training is mandatory for specialised cleaning equipment, with additional training in the use of a client’s ‘in-house’ equipment, if required.
We encourage our cleaners to see things from the client’s point of view, to take responsibility, use initiative, be multi-skilled and flexible in their working practices.
Management and employees are encouraged to co-operate, and where possible we train and promote staff from within the company. As a result, our levels of staff loyalty are significantly higher than the industry average.
